There are expanding opportunities for women’s participation in international security globally, as women are
present in greater numbers in foreign and defence affairs and now occupy important positions in governments around the world.

Security-Australia (WIISA) welcome you to join us for a panel discussion on
Increasing Engagement of Australian Women in International Security

Panellists will discuss their varied experiences in the international security field and will delve into lessons of
the Women in International Security agenda at the global level. A light lunch will be provided.
